ruger redhawk 357 8 shot 2.75 for sale take stainless steel classic looks and improve them with some modern features, modern manufacturing and tight quality. Redhawk revolvers are offered in 357 Mag, 45 Auto 41 Rem Mag and 44 Rem Mag with a variety of grips and barrel lengths totaling nine models.

Compared to older revolvers, Redhawks feature improved safety, increased durability and mechanical rigidity. For instance, the gun has a triple-locking cylinder that anchors it to the top, bottom and rear of the frame improving feel and alignment. A transfer bar safety means the hammer can’t fire the gun unless the trigger is pulled. So even if you drop a loaded revolver, it’s not supposed to fire. The one-piece monolithic frame is reinforced in places with thicker stainless steel than you might expect permitting them to fire the powerful aforementioned ammo.

Redhawks feature a front blade sight with a prominent red stripe down the sight’s rear ramp. The rear sight is flathead screwdriver adjustable for elevation and windage and has a white outline for easy visibility that contrasts wonderfully with the red line in front. Ruger has made it easy to replace the front sight if needed by dovetailing it into the shroud.

The aesthetics are also good. The grip has a good palm filling curve, but above that is a prominent eye-catching lifted knee that’s more prominent than the usual extended grip. The trigger guard is a triangularized oval around a classic curved trigger.

Ruger seems to cold hammer forge all its barrels, creating tremendous durability and barrel accuracy. Redhawks are no exception except in this case the entire sleeve and shroud barrel are cold hammer forged too.

ruger redhawk 357 8 shot 2.75 for sale, but a single-spring makes their triggers smooth. Both the .44 and .357 chambered models are dual-chambered to handle .44 Special and .38 Special ammo respectively. So how about some technical specifications? Of course!

The 357 Mag revolvers have 8-round cylinders. Three models are 2.75”, 4.20” and 5.50” barrels and overall lengths are 8.25”, 9.50” and 11.00” while respectively weights are 44, 49 and 52 ounces. Each of these three models comes with a pair of nice wooden grips and three moon clips for easy reloads. The 357 Mags have a 1:18.75” twist ratio.

The 44 Rem Mag have 6-round cylinders. There are 2.75”, 5.50” and 7.50” barrel models that are 8.25”, 11.00” and 13.00” in respective overall length and 44, 49 and 54 ounces in weight. These also have the same nice wooden grips as the 357s. Note: these don’t come with moon clips. These guns have a 1:20” twist ratio.

The 45 Auto/45 Colt model is solitary. It has a 6-round cylinder, 4.20” barrel with a 1:16” twist, measures 9.50” overall and weighs 44 ounces. But it has an engraved wooden grip and comes standard with a trio of moon clips to make reloads a snap. In fact, the moonclips are required to fire the gun since the ammo lacks ejector rims.

Actually there is one more 44 Rem Mag model. This 6-round cylinder model has a shorter 4.20” barrel and comes to 9.50” overall and weighs in at 47 ounces. Its outstanding feature is its black Hogue Monogrip sleeve with 2.5 finger recesses. There is another Hogue Monogrip model, and that’s the 6-round 41 Rem Mag with the 4.20” barrel that measures 9.50” overall and weighs 48 ounces.
